Notes of Thanks From the Team at Eastman Cartwright Home

Linda

Being a designer is creative, imaginative and conceptual. It requires creative problem-solving skills and the ability to be an entrepreneur. I’m grateful for a company that flourishes in teamwork, meeting of the minds and round table discussions either in person or virtually discussing one of the most important places in our lives, the Home.

This year has given me a whole new meaning on my creative work. I had to be vulnerable in so many areas which not only helped me flourish into a better artist and interior designer but has allowed me to celebrate in the creation of three major home renovations and one business concept and commercial design. These families hold a special place in my heart.

Taking on a leadership role with other creatives has at times been another layer of responsibility but I am beyond grateful that I have taken the risk. My team holds so much importance in our daily operations and communication with our customers that I can’t imagine creating without them. They challenge me, inspire new ways of thinking, create beautifully and design homes of our customers dreams effortlessly. I wouldn’t have had tested the limits of our business this year as hard as I did if they weren’t behind me pushing me forward and celebrating our achievements and growth.

On the decorating side I had to make one of the hardest decisions this year, closing the store on the square. I absolutely loved that space and the way it served our business but I am so happy to come back to the solid roots we built upon at our lumberyard location. I couldn’t be more thankful for the support of our customers as we celebrate four years in business. What a blessing.

Shopping for the store will always be my favorite part, it’s where it all began . It allows me to freely create an environment and brand in which we live, work and create within our community. Experiencing others curating moments for their home inspires me daily.

This season with a full heart I’m wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving. I’m so grateful and thankful for this years lessons and blessings and of course my Eastman Cartwright Home Family

Laura

I am grateful for this role that challenges me to stretch and grow.  I am working to my full capability with all the services we offer to improve the lives of our clients. Whether that be providing floorplans, elevations, 3D perspectives, budgeting clients' investment or being their advocate and project manager.

I’m equally as thankful for supportive and encouraging colleagues. I’ve always thought that what makes the job worthwhile are the people you work with. They deliver excellent results and inspire me to do my best. They care about your well being in and outside of work which creates a better working environment and relationship. Our diversity of experience and skill sets help us to be more creative and adaptable as a team.

I’m grateful to work at a place that not only values me and my contributions but also where I have an opportunity to make a lasting impact.

Happy Holidays!

Amy

This Thanksgiving season I am grateful for this career which has allowed me to follow a lifelong dream: To create beautiful spaces for others to enjoy. Making the decision to change my career and go back to school during the pandemic was daunting, but the team at Eastman Cartwright Home saw my potential and welcomed me in. Even though I now hold my credentials in my hand, I know this career will be a lifelong learning endeavor, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

This year we’ve faced challenges and also triumphs. Every day is another step toward a happy client in the space of their dreams, and it’s gratifying knowing we helped them get there. Whether it’s a residential project or one of our commercial adventures, each job has had its own unique rewards.

I’m grateful for our team and how we all challenge and support each other. Everyone brings something different to the table which makes creating together inspiring.

Thank you to all our clients, family, and friends for the support. I can’t wait to work with more of you in the coming year. Happy Thanksgiving!
